simply put I need to write 1,500 words in an essay form about an event including details about the build up to it Here's a site you might find helpful: There is something called 'F锚te de la Musique' which is country-wide and a pretty big deal. The closing event in Paris is televised. Also it's a fairly new thing so no tons of history to get through. How about Bastille Day? It embodies celebration, food, history, politics and a national holiday to boot. Good luck with your project. Festival de Cannes I agree that the Fete de la musique would be a good one- |
