What is the best way to get from Barcelona to Castres, France?

If you know train or bus schedule, that would be great.

There is no direct train so it's not very easy. It's a 12-hour trip total. Schedules depend on the day of the week you are travelling and when. Here is an example for a Thursday in April:

- 8:25 leaving Barcelona - 13:57 arriving in Narbonne (via cerb猫re)
- 15:33 leaving Narbonne - 18:34 arriving in Castres (via Toulouse).

I don't know of any buses personally...

I just checked and there are no flights to Toulouse or Montpellier but there are flights to Bordeaux (1hr15). Then you can take a train from Bordeaux to Castres (approx. 4 hours). But the flights I found are evening flights only and you'd have to wait till next morning to take a train. This would be the less tiring but more expensive option. There may be more options on different dates. When are you planning on traveling? If you give me your exact date I can find a schedule.

By car it's a 4hr20 drive so 4hr45 total. You can put an ad on a car pooling site like http://www.covoiturage.fr/ or its Spanish equivalent.
