Should I move to Germany?

PROS:

*Germany is rated as having some of the best quality of life in the world (especially in the South).
*High wages.
*A huge economy. Germany is the biggest exporter in the world.
*Affordable housing when compared to other Western European countries.
*Amazing public transportation network.
*No speed limits on Autobahn (still).
*Good healthcare.

CONS:

*You need to speak German fluently to do most jobs.
*Not as cosmopolitan as, say, Britain or Holland. German culture can be alienating to foreigners.
*It takes long to make good friends and develop a social circles. But friendships also last longer.
*Germany was totally bombed in WWII, so unlike the rest of Europe, few historic cities remain. Most cities were re-built in the 1960s and are very grey and concretey.

Definately, if that's where you want to live, or where you can find work, or where your spouse wants to live and can find work.
