Best route to drive from France to Spain?

I am planning to drive from France to Spain. I have planned my route as far as Milau in Southern France but would like to know the best point to cross the French/Spanish border to see the Pyrenees. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

It all depends where in Spain you wish to go...
Once you have passed the magnificent viaduct bridge at Millau you have several options... Go from there to Beziers than Narbonne and further on to Perpignan and across to the west towards Ceret then Am茅lie-les-Bains from there to Prades and further on to Saillagouse. Fom there you can take smaller roads towards the Pyrenees. You can cross over to Spain at Puigcerd谩 and into Andorra and out towards Montagut then Ripoll and straight south until you hit the catalonian coast, about half way between Girona and Barcelona. Or through the capital which is La Seo d'Urgell then on to Sort and south towards Lleida, and back towards the coast. Or you can cross southern France to Lourdes, then head southwest toward Jaca in Spain. The best spanish ski resorts are in that area.
From Jaca head towards Huesca then Zaragoza then on towards Madrid. or Keep going west to Pamplona than across to the Basque country....
It all depends where you want to go.

We used to drive south from Paris all the way down to Carcasonne and then over the Spanish border. If you want to see the Pyrenees you would be better flying as it is a fabulous view when the snow is still there.
