Why does every shop in sweden close at 18:00? I think that is weird? |
Isn't it weird That's what I like about the US, everything is open 24 hours and the taxes are low compared to Swedens insane taxes which screw the poor. Plus less crime, in Sweden the cops don't do anything or else they get accused of being racist. And ambulances get attacked. Weird country, glad I left I'm not sure about Sweden, but in Holland it is similar. Not all shops are closed at 1800 anymore, but a lot are. It does even in Belgium !!! I did ask a shopkeeper of this and he said that he also needs time with his family and friends. When i queried what if i needed something later than 18:00 hrs then he said that we should go to the automated shop and buy the same...somewhat similar to the soft drink can dispenser... wierd No, it isn't weird. Shops all over Europe used to close at this time, and many do still in Ireland. |
