Top 20 must see sights?

While backpacking Europe what are your top 20 must see sights and which ones cost money?

SWITZERLAND has a lot of scenic things but the swiss are only interested in $$$$$. You cant go into a store there and see anything priced. When you go in, the owners and employees size you up by your clothes and appearance and if you fit into the american slot, when you ask the prices for anything, its 6 times what they'd quote to a german or another swiss who knows how this screwing system works.
That's why nothing is ever priced. Your appearance and your lack of ability to speak anything but english puts you as a #1 sucker.
So if you want to see interesting things in low priced areas, the place for you is the balkans - macedonia, albania and greece are the cheapest places in europe. But dangers lien in macedonia and albania. Be careful. You need a rear view mirror on your cap and some mace.
