Is Serbia A Good Country To Visit?

I am fascinated by the monuments and people. I am wondering if anyone knows if the Serbians are open-minded towards foreigners and especially Asians since I am Asian.

Thanks!

I'm glad you say you're fascinated with the monuments, and I'm sure you'll be glad too, to find out that the feeling is reciprocated. Serbian people are open-minded and one of the rare European nations who are interested in ancient Asian cultures without the bad connotations. In general, Serbian people have suffered a lot for their open-mindedness and generosity. They have been victims of the bad media coverage lately but don't let that stop you. Find out for yourself how wrong it is and it could be your life changing experience. We have Asian cuisine restaurants and generally respond well to other cultures. I myself have had friends and colleagues from Japan, Korea, China, Thailand, Malaysia and India - all of which had a very interesting time in Serbia and blended well in our surroundings. I wish you a good and rewarding stay if you decide to come:)

Only if you want to get kidnapped or blown-up. Visiting somewhere safer will increase your life expectancy.

According to history, Serbia is not a very nice place, how bout you try to visit Bosnia-Herzegovina instead of Serbia
