Can you survive in Scandinavia if you only speak English?

I'm thinking about moving to Scandinavia, that's why I asked this question.

Sure.
Most Scandinavian countries use English as their Second language~!
I was in Denmark 2 years ago and I walked into a Store with some Danish Friends and I said to him, "Would you ask her if I could see that out of"......and Before I finished she reached in the Case and brought out the Watch and Spoke perfect English back to me!
Norway, Sweden and Denmark have the most Friendly & Helpful people!
I found no matter where I went all I had to do was Speak English and they'd reply back.....well, not EVERY SINGLE Person but, More than not.

Yes.

Pretty much... Most Scans speak english. Du skal laere Norsk.

seeing how most tourists there are americans yes im sure there are accomodations for english people :) such as menus and stuff

A lot of Northern Europeans speak English.

Yes...........

seems most the people there speak english better than most the americans i know....

Yes, use sign languages.. or act... or draw...

In Scandinavia you can get by with English only, but if you plan to stay there for more than a few months you should learn the local language, if only for politeness.
But I found came in contact with a few local people (sales people on a market) and written language (in museums, on stations) where some knowledge of the language was needed.
(I am lucky that my own language is near Norwegian and I could well survive in those cases.)
