Tell me something interesting about Saskatchewan?

I don't know too much about Canada and there is very little information available on that state. Tell me something interesting about it. Like a detail, a story, about a place that exists there that is really cool, how is it like to live there, what are people like... Any interesting details. Thank you in advance!

Moose Jaw, SK is a neat little city. There are tunnels under the city that were originally built for a man to go underneath the downtown area to keep the heaters going in the winter for all the businesses.

Then one of the tunnels was used for a laundry and Chinese workers were used in these tunnels. They didn't see sunlight for years.

Another tunnel is rumoured to have been used as Al Capone's bootlegging business. There was a train that rain straight from Moose Jaw to Chicago.

The tours that are run in those tunnels now are fantastic!

Oh and there is an incredible resort spa in Moose Jaw as well. That place is WONDERFUL!

named after an indian?

It's a province not a state. We don't have states here.

I have it tattooed on my dick. Normally it just says "swan".

its spelling

I live in Regina Sask in 2000. It is the flatest land i have ever seen!!! they make a joke that you can watch your dog run away for 3 days... thats how flat it is! The people are just loverlt, they love their sports and country music! A small town called Moose Jaw looks like your typical small towns of central america, it has canadian flas, amazing paintings on walls... it's fantastic! i'll be honest it's not the most exciting part of canada (that could explain little about he province on line) however if you go looking for things to see and put an effort to meet the people it can be a great place!!!

Saskatchewan is one of the most Beautiful provinces of Canada check out the link below

One of Saskatchewan's former premiers, Tommy Douglas, is known as the founder of Canada's universal health care system. Despite our grumblings at times, most Canadians are very proud that we have this system, and most Saskatchewan people are very proud that Tommy Douglas was one of Saskatchewan's own. He was recently voted to be our Greatest Canadian. (He also used to live in my city.)

Interesting....
In Saskatchewan you can fish in a different lake every day of your life and never fish in the same lake twice.
Also, contrary to popular belief, forestry is one of the main industries.

It only has one tree, that's about all I know that would be interesting about Saskatchewan.

It is the fastest-growing part of Canada right now.

If you are familiar with the U.S., it is "Canada'a Minnesota": the same ethnic mix, the same love for football and hockey, very nice people, farms in the south, forest in the north, two medium-sized cities with a fierce rivalry. Come visit us.
