What are some nice places to travel to in British Columbia Canada? |
I live in Vancouver BC. What are some fun places that have attractions in BC? Vancouver Island has a lot to offer. Start in Victoria for some shopping, visit the Royal British Columbia Museum, have tea at the Empress Hotel and generally enjoy the 'Old Country' feeling of the town. shuswap lake is amazing in the summer time!! lots of camping and houseboating and tons of hiking if you're into that. not sure if you've ever been over to Vancouver Island, my bf visited there for a week and loves it, always wants to go back again and again. The photos from there that he showed me are amazing! Not much there I don't think for those "shopping" type of tourism but just driving and seeing is beautiful. And there' an restaurant there....its awesome, its in Coombs, and its called "Old Country Market" but its known for having goats on its roof! My bf ate there and showed me photos and it was so funny, included that link in sources for you, "tenants" will show you the goats on the roof and there's so much more to do there. I think this would be a must see to go to if you haven't and you are so close :) |
