I'm travelling from Hamilton ontario to Calgary, does anyone know how i could bring my cat?

i want him to be on the same flight as me... i dont want him to be cargo and show up like days later, i woudl like him to be on the same flight and maybe someone could suggest a service they used persnally thank you

As far as I know some airlines don't allow pets at all and others may allow pets to travel in the cargo hold but not in the passenger cabin. Some airlines will refuse to transport pets when the outside temperature is either extremely hot or extremely cold. Every airline that allows passengers to travel with pets will charge a fee, and the fee will vary from company to company.in addition, most airlines impose a limit on the number of pets they will accept in the passenger cabin on any given flight and the important thing to remember is that you'll need to make a reservation for your cat as well as for yourself :) If you don't give the airline advance notice that you're travelling with an animal, you and your cat may be prevented from boarding the aircraft.

A lot depends on the airline you choose.

I believe Westjet will still allow pets onboard but I expect it is in the cargo hold only. It would be on the same flight as you.

Air Canada changed their policy a few months ago and no longer accepts pets.

I haven't taken my cat on a flight (car rides are hard enough) and I have no info regarding any other airline.

Good luck!

West Jet allows pets but does not assume any responsibility.

Smaller pets with the right kind of accommodations are allowed to be in the cabin (under 22lbs). And I think there is a $50.00 fee both ways. The kennel has to be soft sided I believe and HAS to fit under the seat in front of you for the whole duration of the trip. But you can put them in cargo as well with a bigger harder kennel if you so desire.
Air Canada no longer accepts pets on board.

I know that westjet allows animals in the cabin as long as they weigh less than 22 pounds, are in a soft sided cage that fits under the seat
have a good time in calgary
