You have been given the most commonly accepted answer. Those are the provinces and territories of Canada. However, there are two other territories in Canada that often go unmentioned. They are the two Inuit territories, one in Newfoundland and Labrador and one in Quebec. With the settlement of land claims issues for the Inuit of those two provinces the territories of Nunavik (in Quebec - still in process) and Nunatsiavut (in Labrador) were created. These are unique territories, different from any other governing group in Canada.
