I'm visiting Canada for four days- should I go to Montreal or Toronto/Niagra Falls?

or quebec?

I live in Niagara Falls and there is quite a bit to do here. There are lots of tourist attractions, casino, the falls, etc. Toronto is a great city with art galleries, shopping, museums, CN tower, pro sports, concerts, shows, etc. If you came to this area you can also go to Niagara-on-the-Lake and the wine stuff if that interests you.

If you went to Montreal you can visit Ottawa, Canada's capital. There is quite a bit to do there. Montreal is one of my favourite cities in Canada. Don't worry about the language, I can only speak high school french and I get by alright. It is a great city, with lots to see and do. Quebec City is great to and you can incorporate those two into a little trip.

The only thing is if you go this time of year Ottawa, Montreal, Quebec are very cold. Niagara Falls and Toronto are cold but not as cold as those places.

Anyhow have fun any way you decide to your trip.

Vancover.

toronto is better, unless you can speak french fluently because most of the montrealans speak french and only french, plus i'd say theres alot more to do in toronto especially down younge street

Wow, try to do both. Montreal is so nice to see (study some french, it will help), The falls are unbelievable. Go in the spring or fall.

Safe travels!

Hmm, well Montreal is in Quebec. Perhaps you meant Quebec City? Anyway, it's hard to compare Montreal and Toronto without knowing what you like. I've been to both as a tourist many times, and have lived in T.O. as well... if I had four days, I think I would pick Montreal. Contrary to what one person said, you will get by just fine with English there (that would apply less so in Quebec City). Niagara Falls is way too touristy, sadly... avoid it unless you happen to like casinos, flashing lights, and fireworks stores. The Falls themselves are spectacular, but we've gone and ruined them on both sides of the border with excessive development.

Go to Quebec City.

Go to Toronto and Niagara Falls. Montreal is in Quebec and is a good 6 hours drive from Toronto. Niagara Falls - Toronto is 130 km, not that far. Go to Niagara-on-the-Lake as well. It is a beautiful city at the mouth of Niagara River.

BC and Alberta. There's nothing good to see in Toronto, Montreal or Niagra falls. West is the Best.
