Has anyone else ever used Canadian Tire Money south of the border? |
A few years back a few friends and I took a road trip into Buffalo ( I am from Niagara Falls originally) and paid for our drinks most of the night with Canadian Tire money. I found it really amusing that we were able to do this, as well as the questions we got about he man in the scarf and Santa hat being our "president." Has anyone else ever done this?? lmao lol I don't think this is possible but that's pretty hilarious... MAYBE you could barter them for a few drinks if you're lucky, but the possibility of trading them at face value (ratio of $1:$1) is pretty unlikely. anyway probably still worth a shot LOL Report It Wow.. Americans..lol Never! I've never heard of such a thing....thanx for sharing lol Never! That sounds like a plan, though. There are actually stores in Canada (other than Canadian Tire) that accept CT money at par!! I'll have to gather up all my CT money for my next trip across the border!! That is so hilarious! I never heard of anyone doing that before. That tells you something about being gullible, doesn't it? Thanks for this question. That's just too funny. My hubby's going to Arkansas at the end of the month, I think I'll ask him to try it. |
