Does it cost Canadian citizens to give birth outside Canada? |
I am currently covered under my husbands military benefits, but I am not sure if that would cover me if I was to give birth outside Canada. Check with your benefit provider. you may want to call them and find out. if they don't cover it, you can always get travellers insurance that will cover the medical bills while your out of country. You would have to see if they cover it. i actually tried to get traveler's insurance for my pregnancy when I visited the US and I was denied. yes but ohip will pay some your benefit supplier is the only one that can answer that |
