Can i use US electrical products in Sao Paulo, Brazil or do i need a convertor?

I am planning to use maybe an iPod or similar devcices bought in the US

If your transformers (chargers) are bi volt, like 90~240v inscripted in the charger's label, it will be ok. S茫o Paulo has it's voltage in 110v (the city) and 220v (others in the state than the capital).

Another thing is that our outlet pins are rounded (cylinders) instead of flat pins. But the newer outlets always has both formats.

If you are planning to stay in a hotel, most of them has labels or signs that indicates which voltage is the outlet.

It is like the other person said, you can always find one adapter in nearby shops and stores.

Sao Paulo has 110v and the shops sell 110v products so you should be fine. However just down the road in Santos (and upstate too I think) they use 220v and shops there sell 220v products.

No way, they wont check. They will ask for your passport only. There is no imigration control on internal flights. Even an ID or driver's license is enough.
