Do you like Brazil?

Do you like Brazil?

Eu te amo Brasil!

Check my profile if you wanna know how much i love Brasil. I grew up there (Recife) and the people their are really nice. Nice in a way that they treat you as if you're a Brazilian yourself. As if your skin colour doesn't matter. Not sure for a white person (im asian) but sure i assume they'd be nice ta ya too. They're genuinely relaxed and friendly.

Churrasco (barbecue) tastes good, the beaches are incomparably beautiful, the exotic air of mixed culture of Africanism, Europeanism, old churches and architectures, Catholicism, Bossa Nova, Garotas (girls) with tiny bikinis, friendly everyday people, caipirinha (Brazialian cocktail) etc. Plenty to love and love is in the air. But word of caution: it was a dangerous place at least from my recollection of 6 years worth of stay two decades ago. Don't be wearing stuff that stand out as Gringos or a rich person. And don't ever dare to go near to the favelas (slums). Gangs there so hardcore even the policemen wont dare step foot in.

On a lighter note, don't give them the conventional westeners' "OK" sign (where you connect ur index finger to ya thumb and make a circle) cos that means "tomar no cu" in Brazil, which means "take it in your cornhole" ;) The Brasilian way is to give a "thumb up" sign if you wanna thank or assure them ur OK.

Boa sorte (good luck) my friend.

PS: I've been in AUS for couple of years. No offense intended but Latin culture is so much more exciting and aphrodisiac. Chaotic though ;)

hell maybe

si

Absolutely!
Especially when covered with dark chocolate!

Oh . . . we're not talking about Brazil nuts?
My bad! ;)

I love it, it's my country.

Mais, j'aime la France aussi et bien s没r le Canada !!

it is a beautifully country, but dangerous, and have a bad administration

sure and i hope i will be there sometime...

I love Brazil!!!!!
For me is the best place to live in spite of all.
Good food, great people, marvellous weather.... what more can I ask?

YES!!!

Of course I like Brazil, I was born there. Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul to be precise.

I love Brazil. I am an international student in Australia and have so many friends from Brazil. They are so friendly and warm-hearted, I can't tell you. Brazil is like a multitude of different cultures, ethnicities and backgrounds. You have people of different origins, all born in one country Brazil.

Brazil has some of the best nightlife with the beautiful beaches, coastlines and nightclubs. You have so much to see and visit while you're in Brazil. Copacabana, Rio de Janeiro and Iguazu Falls. Sao Paulo and Brasilia have some of the best kept Portuguese historical sites and architecture, which are a must see for anyone planning to visit Brazil in the future. Therefore, Brazil is one of my top five favourite countries in the world.

YES. I love Brazil. It's such a beautiful and diverse country! You can see a little of everything there...beaches, mountains, jungles...WOW!!! Yes, there are parts that are dangerous but that is true of every country. Even here in the States...I'm from California and in LA you have to be careful what neighborhoods you go into. Go to Brazil....the culture and energy are unlike anywhere else that I've been.

Hola hoy ! After watching the movie Turistas I'm not so sure.

Culturally and economically speaking, the South of Brazil is great, very European. That's also where the most beautiful women come from, naturally. Porto Alegre is a huge capitol city that must be visited. And S茫o Leopoldo is like a new Germany. The Center and North, in the other hand, have a long way to go, with terrible administration problems. It is truly sad that most foreigners only get to know Rio de Janeiro. So I'd say I don't like Brazil, just the South of Brazil. But the people is cool all over the country.
