Which cities in Brazil have many mixed white/black people?

I mean, people that are noticably mixed black and white. Also, not too hot, nice place to live. Thank you.

Brazil's population comprises many races and ethnic groups. The Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics classifies the Brazilian population in five categories: white, black, pardo (brown), yellow (Asian) or Indigenous, based on skin color or race. The last census revealed the following numbers: 93 million White people (49.9%), 80 million Brown people (43.2%), 11.7 million Black people (6.3%), and 1.3 million Asian or Amerindian people (0.7%). The ethnic composition of Brazilians is not uniform across the country. Due to its large influx of European immigrants in the 19th century, the Southern Region has a White majority, consisting of 80.8% of its population. The Northeastern Region, as a result of the large numbers of African slaves working in the sugar cane engenhos, has a majority of brown and black peoples, respectively 63.1% and 7%. Northern Brazil, largely covered by the Amazon Rainforest, is 71.5% brown, due to its strong Amerindian component. Southeastern Brazil and Central-Western Brazil have a more balanced ratio among different ethnic groups.

What I have experienced in Brazil, is that many folks are 'mixed' and this is particularly true in the larger cities and in places such as Bahia. Even though I get the sense that there is still much racial classification, there is much mixing to make that classification all the more difficult.

As far as living there, the Brazilian people are friendly, out-going, and fun-loving...no matter the race. They all want what's best for themselves and their families.

my friend is from brazil and i just asked him he said that the county is about 50% mixed

I'm from Brazil and all the country are mixed. Depending the region, the concentration can change. As an example: in the south of Brazil has more white people because there are a lot of descendant of Europeans.

I live in Bahia. The concentration of white/black people is around 20/80 here in Bahia. Here we have sun during all of the year and the temperature is around by 29掳C.

It's a very good place to live!!

In general terms, for skin color in Brazil, as south as you go, the whitest it become; and as north as you go, the darkest it become.
What do you mean for "not too hot"? Brazil is a tropical country, all country is very hot in summer and only places around or south of Tropic of Capricorn line get some cold in winter.

All cities in Brasil are a bit like that. I think there are more Mulatto's in Brasil than any other country. If I remember correctly it had something to do with the Brasilian dictator Getulio Vargas saying Blacks & whites should marry in the 1930's or something.

Curitiba is quite a nice place to live & since it's in the mountains isn't too hot, Porto Alegre in the South as well.

I'm also from Brazil. All the answer are CORRECT !!! The further SOUTH you go the more concentration of Caucasians you will see;The weather is also much more COOLER in the south of Brazil.
I'm a great example of the mix of black and white= biracial.I'm from Salvador-Bahia,where you probably feel like you are in Jamaica or another black predominant part of the world. With lots of mulatto/ biracial people too....which is a BEAUTIFUL mix of races.I like to called Coffee and Milk kind of mix.My whole family is formed since my ancestors; of blacks and whites. My grant-grandfather from my father's side of the family was light skin black with STUNNING green eyes, that I inherited.

all of brazil is like that. about 43% of the people are mixed.
But there are large areas of noticeable ethnicities. Such as much of the south is german .. sao paulo state has the largest japanese colony outside of Japan .. the state also has a huge Italian population. More less.. the further north you go which is closer to the equator .. the darker peoples complexion.. the further south you go the lighter peoples complexion.

boa sorte

Everybody here is mixed. My father is Jewish. My cousin is indian. I麓m mixed indian, Jewish, Italian and German.

Rio and S茫o Paulo have very mixed people.

I live in Marajo Island in North of Brazil, in my city there are many indian/ white people descendents.

Most places in Brazil have mixed populations like what you described but the greatest example, from my personal experience is their financial capital, Sao Paulo, where people from all over the country converge for work.l

Brazil has the second largest black population in the world, just after Nigeria

Salvador and other cities in the state of Bahia.

its all mixed. salvador has a large black population (although they prefer to be called ***** because that is an ethnicity and black is just a color)

All the country have mixed people. The best weathers are Curitiba, S茫o Paulo, Belo Horizonte and Bras铆lia, cities that are above 800m from the sea level and have a pleasant summer. Porto Alegre can be very cold in the winter (including going below 0) but is very hot in the summer too.
