A letter from brasil?

my friend is suppose to send me a letter but it hasnt come yet and he sent it on august 25th and i think it takes about 20 days but if any one knows how long it will take could you please let me know` it is very important i receive this letter~

i sent a package one time and it took over 2 months to get there, and when it got there they had opened the package but everything got there all in one piece.

20 days or more....
To send a letter to my mother in brazil it takes more than a month!!!! it is ridiculous!

When I lived there it took about 2 weeks for a letter to get from Germany to Rio...but it seems to have changed and takes longer these days

When I lived in Brasil, letters from the USA would generally take about 2 weeks to be received. There were a couple of times when I would receive it in 7 days - apparently miracles do happen. And then there were a couple times it took 3 weeks. One letter even took 6 weeks (having been passed in the mail system by a couple of others)

Packages usually took longer - average of about 3 weeks.

Hopefully there is no money or other funds in the letter as that may not even be received - a friend of mine had a couple of letters go missing that had checks.

But our Post Office Departament are broked in Sep 12th.

Well, I am Brazilian and I have a friend in USA. I usually send letters. Brazil to USA delivery by US Mail - 1 month!
USA to Brazil - 12 days /20 days (Not sure). I saw the date she sent.

It really takes a lot of time!!!!!!!!!! Try wait 1 month or 2 months if he doesn't reply you they lost it.
