Okay, brazilians in general are friendly. The are care people. They will do anything for you if they like you, not just as a couple, but also as friends.
Also, we don't like to say that we have this and that... or... show somethig that we are not. We rather show love and respect. We love to make friends.
As far as americans.. I have tons of friends ... and they are awesome people as well, don't get me wrong.. but the way we, brazilians, treat people are differrent. We are not so "cold".

Just stay away from the brazilians! :)
Most of them are nice just in the beginning... later on they will show what they are capable of....
They can be cute.. but don't be fool by their looks!!!!
They are "macho" like the mexicans... actually.. they have some of the same qualities.
They are cheap... hehehehe they don't tip well in the restaurants...
I could spend the whole night listing what is bad about the brazilians....
but one thing you need to know... they cheat a lot... a lot a lot..... it is their specialty! :)
It might sound too much... it might sound that I am not being fair with them.. and I am generalizing ... but believe me... 95% of them are like that.... Well, I'll just say that you usually find what you're looking for . . . if you expect to meet nice, friendly people - you will. If you look for rude, uncaring people - you will find them. That's true of any group of people.
Some are "hotter," some are not. I suppose the "hottie" scale is pretty much a personal preference. And perhaps too superficial to be trusted. That's good that you know they're hotter :)
