Austria jobs?

What are some of the informative and useful sites with jobs offerings in Austria?

I am especially looking for agricultural and fruit picking jobs anywhere in Austria. I'm really, really, REALLY looking for, but haven't found so far anything!

Your information is MORE than welcome! Thanks.

I am EU citizen.

Honestly I have no idea where you can find fruit picking jobs, nevertheless I have listed some homepages that are quite useful when you are hunting for a job.

There is the AMS (www.ams.or.at) -this is the official page of the Austrian employment center

Adecco (www.adecco.at ) - an employment agency (I was employed by them twice and they are really fair); www.manpower.at is something equivalent

脰H - homepage of the Austrian student body (http://www.jobwohnen.at/index.php?id=135... - here you can find promotion jobs, bar jobs...

Anyway - as Austria is a quite touristy country you will have the best chances to find a job in this sector.

Hope I could help - good luck to you!

I just realised that all of theses pages are written in German - so the dictionary www.leo.org might be helpful.

no idea, sorry.

If you are not an EU-citizen you will need a special working licence for even the measliest jobs in fruit picking or bar tendering. Normaly your employer will organize this for you providing he can't find any Austrians/EU-citizens to do the job (he has to prove this to the govermental employment agency).
There is always the chance to get a few days of illegal odd job work - but don't get caught.

If you are an EU-citizen, try this: http://www.ams.at/neu/english/9318.htm?p...

look at
www.lako.at
or
www.noebauernbund. at
but its all in german

the second is a newspaper for farmers, like The Land in Australia
