What could probably happen to a pregnant woman that smokes?

Is it lethal to be pregnant and smoke cigarettes?

low birth weight, CANCER, anemia, birth defects, CANCER, COPD, Emphesema, miscarriage, CANCER, chronic bronchitis, you get the picture

You are putting the baby at risk first and foremost. The effect on you is no more different to what it is normally.

Nothing much will happen to the pregnant woman, but the baby is going to have some pretty serious health issues.
Babies born to mothers who smoke while pregnant are immensly more likely to have asthma, lower IQ, be colicky, Have a lower birth weight leading to developmental problems. The baby will have more allergies and likelihood of skin conditions like ezcema and psoriasis and an incresed chance of cancer. babies exposed to nicotine during gestation are also much more likely to die of SIDS (sudden infant death syndrome).
A smoking pregnant woman is the symbol of selfishness.

The baby will have lung development problems...more than likely be born with acute asthma, potentially heart problems, impaired speech or difficulty in learning. Cigarettes have lethal chemicals in them which does harm the baby!!!! (which is why there are warnings on the labels).

it's not good for the baby
