Working holiday australia?

hey,

im going on a 6 to 12 month working holiday in australia arround march 09, starting in sydney, then brisban, then cairns, alice springs and then back to sydney.

can anyone reccomend any companys that i could travel with and meet people as i am traveling alone, also if you can give me ane feedback if you have lready done omthing similar. it would be good to hear from people who have already done the working holiday, and please, let me know how it really is.

thanks.

I been with Adventure tours -> Alice and Tasmania and there great if it comes to hiking and nature

I been with connections from Syd -> Cains and that was cool.

Connection and contiki are known for party and "companionship" ;)

Also you will be able to meet a LOT of people in the various backpackers.

Are you coming from the USA or the UK?
If so check out UK site for working Holiday in Aussie - http://www.bunac.org/uk/workaustralia and USA here http://www.bunac.org/usa/workaustralia

Hope that helps you.

I am going to be doing the same thing this summer! I don't know how old you are, but I am going to take a tour with Contiki to New Zealand. They do tours all over Australia and are geared toward younger travelers (I think 18-35 year olds). Their tours are a ton of fun and you will meet lots of people!
