What Generation Australian Are You? |
What generation Australian are you? And of what ancetry? I pretty sure im 5th...its hard to trace any further back! (oh and of British ancetry). Father's side -5th at the most and almost all English (Ilminster, Somerset) with one Irish - Australian there. 6th generation of Irish descent I am pretty sure my grandparents were from UK (scotland, eng..) On my fathers Side convict stock I think I'm 4th generation, not completely sure though. (it doesn't sound very far back when you think of it!) I am 7th gen from all 4 of my grandparents, so my kids are 8th gen from 2 of their grandparents. 6th generation. my first ancestors on these shores were german settlers (my great great great grandparents) who came here in the early 1800s. I think I'm 5th generation Australian....like the majority of Aussies, my ancestory goes back to England, Scotland and Ireland. I am 1st generation. My Mam is from Ireland and my Dad was from Russia. 1st Generation - Both my parents are from Malta I'm 2nd generation. 1st - parents born in Poland and came here with their parents as young kids. This is an interesting question- and not easy to answer. |
