My Italian girlfriend won't live in Australia?

live in Australia because her family aren't near. I've just arrived back from 12 months in Italy and 2 years in England and won't live in Europe even though it's beautiful because I am too stressed by it. My girlfriend has lived in Brisbane for a year and have taken her to Sydney and Melbourne which she enjoyed but she said she won't leave Europe because of her family. I'm prepared to sacrifice Australia to live somewhere like Canada which is also very multicultural like Australia but she won't go there. I suggested Canada because it's kinda half way, in fact it's closer to Europe but she said no chance. She speaks fluent English and I speak very broken Italian. Any thoughts or advice...

Only your heart can give you the answer here. Many people can't leave their families permanently. I have a daughter inlaw who is Swiss and although she will live in England for a while she knows it is easy to fly to Switzeland . But to live in Australia it's just to far from her support and love of her family. I understand that as I lived overseas away from my family and it was not nice once i had children and couldn't ask for help or show them off to family. You wouldn't want her here and feel homesick and sad would you. So really you have 2 choices. one is to keep her and live in Italy or 2 is to move on with out her. .

If she wont meet you half way now, what will your life be like in a few years when you marry her, you will be really under her thumb. I would throw her back and try to net another.

hehehe...
Australia is a great place, plenty of italian girls here too, forget her and find yourself a new Aussie italian princess here. Sydney or Melbourne is full of them. good luck boy....

well the best place in australia to move to is melbourne
yes she's gonna be away from family, but atleast she'll be close to the culture
i guess that's all the advice i can give you
hope it helps
