Moving to oz?

i have heared that in oz they are crying out for skilled workers,i have just started my electricins course and will be qualified in 2-3 years do u think they will still need all the workers or will it of quietened down by then?

I don鈥檛 think any construction skill workers are going to disappear anytime soon.
To take a look at skilled workers shortage list see http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/general-s... or http://www.workingin-australia.com/info/...
Not sure where you are from but see if there is an EXPO on Australia coming up soon in your area 鈥?they can offer jobs, help with visas and immigration is there to answer any questions http://www.expo-australia.com

What about doing your electrician apprenticeship here in Australia? Might be an option, see Australia Immigration http://www.immi.gov.au and http://www.australianapprenticeships.gov...

Hello
I am an Australian living in the UK. We are a large country and I am sure they will always be looking for people with a trade - although they are encouraging more and more Aussies to get a trade rather than Uni

All the best

Yeah - at the moment there is a 'skill' shortage and there is basically no one to build, make or do stuff, so i think you have a chance. Electricians are one of the areas where they need a lot of people.

You will have no problems getting a job and earn decent money.
There is definitely a shortage of qualified tradespeople - we need more!!!!

Well Australian employee's are always looking for skilled people, but the problem with that, is Australian's are losing their jobs to people, who could of easily got a job in there home country.

You could easily get a well-paying job in your own country with electrician training. Especially if you brush up on your spelling skills.
