It's a communist country, you will most likely need a visa you have to pay for - like all of the other communist countries!

Angkor Wat gets lots of tourists. Phnom Penh, and Cambodia in general, has some recent bloody history where the communists murdered about 2 to 4 million people after the US and allies cut and run from Vietnam! (Phnom Penh has a couple nice bars though!)

You can take a boat from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap where Angkor Wat is located near.

Thailand is cheaper and more tourist friendly.
