I am flying from LAX to Hong Kong to Phnom Penh There is 1 1/2 hours btn flights do I have to do customs ?

I am flying Cathy Pacific from LAX and connecting with Dragon Air, with only 1-1/2 hours between them do I have to go thru customs or just walk to the next plane? We use carry on so I won't have to wait for luggage.

Also if the flight is late to HKN do I have a right to be put on another carrier if that is the only flight on Dragon Air for the day?

Will they give me hotel money if I have to wait till the next day?

no customs for connecting flights, as long as you dont leave the airport.
