Around Asia?

I am currently an English teacher in Taiwan and want to travel around Asia once my contract expires in June. I have been to Thailand, Philippines, and Hong Kong. I have about two weeks to explore Asia. Where should I go next and why? Thanks.

Why not try Malaysia? It is 'Visit Malaysia' year, and the place is really nice. I advise a trip to Sarawak, and Kuching in particular. Lots of great history to learn from, access to beaches if you wish, orang utan reservations, very cheap hotels and food. You will probably be offered a job as well if you are a good English teacher.

Wow! That's so cool that you are able to travel like that. Here are some places I would go to if I could.

-Jeju (also spelled Chechu?) Island in South Korea
-Japan: places like Tokyo, Kyoto, etc.
-a little out of your way but I would like to go to India

Hope this helps and have a nice trip!

Mongolia. It was the Biggest country in the world in 1200. Chinggis Khaan who was the greatest leader in the world history lived in Mongolia. There are many things you never seen or heard in Mongolia. Actually it was the number one country in the most beautiful countries around the world few years ago. BB

Vietnam I've only been to Ho Chi Minh city and it was super very different from Hong kong . I'd love to go back and visit the country areas and Hanoi and into Cambodia to visit Ankar wat.

Tour different parts of China - Beijing, Shanghai, etc. Beijing for history and Shanghai for contrast of the old and new. You can include Xiamen on the side. China's history is very old and you will enjoy every bit of it. I intend to visit the different places in China when opportunity comes.
