What will the weather be like in Thailand, Camodia, Laos, Vietnam in August?

Hello
I would like to go to one of these countires in the summer going for the whole month of August but keep on hearing conflicting advice on what the weather (ie Monnsoon rain) will be like during this time - has anyone been there during August?

Thanks

Weather in Cambodia is Tropical monsoon climate. Monsoon season is from May to November. The most pleasant season is the dry season, from November/December to April. In the north, winters can be colder, while throughout most of the country temperatures remain fairly constant. There is often seasonal flooding in Phnom Penh and the rest of Cambodia in late July and early August; travel may be disrupted.

Required Clothing
Lightweight clothing is worn all year. Rainwear is essential during the rainy season.

Yes, back in the age of war. Monsoon season was terrible. Rains 24 hours a day the closer you are to the equator and it is like sticking your head under the bathtub faucet with warm water running almost at full on for 24 hours a day. No matter what you do, you are going to get wet and it is a warm to hot rain. Monsoon season starts usually during the latter part of July and lasts for about 4 months. Which is why the rainfall in Viet Nam was averaging about 39 feet and Singapore averaged about 58 feet of rain per year.

I have been in VN for numerous Augusts.

But not to dwell on the mundane.

Thailand is always hotter than VN to my knowledge. Maybe I don't know what I am talking about, but that has been my experience!

I was in Cambodia during the winter (in VN) and it was much hotter than VN! Lao, I think it depends on where and when you are.

Ha Noi is hot and humid during the summer!

i donn't know.

hot.
