What can i expect from laos? im spending a week there in june? The landscape will depend on where in the country you go. But generally, you can expect very friendly people, basic infrastructure, and limited influence from Western consumerism. Expect peace, greenery, mountains, gentle people, tranquility, beauty, kind people. Laos is very laid back, possibly the most laid back country, and definately most laid back capital city you'll ever visit. The people are very friendly, you won't see the constant pace that yuo do in Vietnam or Thailand. |
