how does a Filipino look like, I know they vary coz they are multiracial but how do most look like pacific islander or latinos....

You are quite right. I oftentimes mistaken Filipinos as Latinos.

Most of the Filipinos looks like Malaysian, Indonesian and Chinese.
But there are some who really acquire their Spanish looks like the latinos.
Actually i have spanish roots but still many people think i am Chinese!
There are also many tribes or indigenous people live here!

I would agree with the general population looking more like tan-skinned pacific islanders or malaysians. Many look like a mix between the various countries in east Asia with just a minority that have spanish facial features and complexion.

The Filipino entertainment industry feature more light-skinned spanish/asian Filipinos that sometimes it can give the wrong impression that the diversity in the cast also reflect the general Filipino population. But if you visit the country and take a look around the heart of the cities and provinces, it doesn't represent the look of the Filipino people very accurately.

Of course, this doesn't always apply outside of the Philippines as you may even find more spanish-looking Filipinos in the U.S. The Filipino look has become more difficult to recognize as many Filipinos mix genetics with other nationalities. Eventually after several generations, appearance will not be a reliable means of determining who's Filipino.

Looks are Chinese and Malay basically. Descendants of Spanish and American mixed parentage look like Latinos. However, it is said they sing and also dance like Latinos, but speak like Americans.

We Filipinos are of mixed races. Some may look very latinos bcuz they have latin bloodlines, some looks like Chinese cuz they are Half-Chinese, and some, looks like Americans...

Hard to explain, but we look like no other race does, I myself, is a combination of native Filipino, a bit of Spanish and a drop of chinese runs in my veins.

We're all sorts of looks and skin color. To give you an idea, the first inhabitants of the land are the aetas who are aborigines. Our country is raped by the spaniards for 300 yrs. then came the japanese who did the raping then the americans, few americans did war crimes though. Chinese merchants traded here heavily from the past and they have alot of decendants here right now. But majority of us have a Malay profile. They are brown like the Thai's, Indonesians and Malasians. Try searching the web for Filipino celebs and you'll have an idea.

Filipinos look like more on the pacific islander, a shorter and slimmer version.
before, i thought filipinos look like latinos, but now that i'm in a place with lots of filipinos and latinos alike, you can differentiate them quickly. filipinos still have that oriental features(eyes, skin and body feature) that some of the pacific islanders also have.
