Is tahiti too hot and rainy to visit in March?

I'm looking at a cruise in 2009 there and don't want to spend all of that money, only to be in a downpour the whole time.

Actually as Tahiti lies in the tropical ring of fire it has more or less the same climate around the year, hot, humid and rain almost every day, sometimes 5 minutes, sometimes 5 hours, but it's never a problem as the rains bring a nice drop in temperature, you'll enjoy it.
