Pele or Maradona?

Which one do you consider to be the true king of football? Why?

Pele without a doubt. Pele never tested positive for drugs, his football game was clean and he did scored all those goals without any substance in his body. Maradona was like a god inside the stadium but he tested so many times for drugs that we really dont know now if all those wonderful moves he did (and his stamina!) were due to his football abilities or due to the amount of drugs in his system. They were role models for kids, only Pele continues to be one and he works with Unicef and is still a healthy man while Maradona has abandoned himself to a life of alcohol and drugs. It's a pity as he was a great player. But the king was, is and will always be PELE.

Combine those attributes with his great sense of ethics and unwavering good sportsmanship over two decades and one has to ask, how can you even dare to ask such a question?

A better question would have been Maradona-v-Best, then you can way up two players who spent most of their careers off their faces on drugs.
