What is the difference between straw and hay in spanish? |
Could someone please tell me the difference between saying straw and hay in Spanish. We are interested in building a straw bale house in Argentina and I want to start researching to see if anything has been built, but I keep searching for hay (I think) "straw" that is "paja" is the right word. "heno" will NOT get you anywhere in Argentina. Though I am not an expert in agriculture and plants, I can say straw is "paja" and hay is "heno". That's how I've always heard people call straw and hay in the countryside. |
