About Argentina..? |
Im taking a spanish class now. Tomorrow, i have a task to write article about argentina. Could you help me to find interesting topic related to argentina which is interesting to discuss. I prefer to have news about things: At the beginning of the Fodor's travel guide, there is a chapter about local traditional things and habits of each country. I always find that chapter very useful. It is also online. Well, as I'm Argentinian, I can tell you that we have some habits that are interesting. For example, on sundays we are used to meet all the family in a house (usually the grandmother's) and while women prepare the food, men watch car races. Or men prepare "asado" and women salads. And after having ate, we're used to stay on the table for some more time (we call it "sobremesa"). You can write about lots of aspects of Argentina, its story (really contradictory), its lands (geographical aspects), the tourism in Buenos Aires, and lots of other things... Argentina was liberated with the help of General San Martin. The people then had a civil war, which tore the country apart and was against the desires of San Martin. He wound up dying in FRANCE!!! He couldn't even stay in his own country. |
