I have a 100 pesos bill from Argentina that doesnt look like new bills they have. Who do I contact for this?

I have searched and the current 100 peso bill looks different. I've had this bill for a very long time; though I've never been to Argentina. I just want to know a little more about it and cant seem to find any information.

If it was a "current" 100$ bill it will be worth about USD33.00

But ONLY if it was issued after 1992, it should say "convertible pesos" or "pesos convertibles" when the Peso was 1 to 1 with the USDollar (changes in 2002!)

If it is previous to that date, it is worth 0 for purchasing, but may eventually have some "numismatic" value. Not much!
It should have the name "Austral" (NOT Pesos) If still have the pesos, it is before 1986 that means it is worth (if exchangeable) about 0.000000001 of to-days Pesos!!!

No bank and/or agency will change it for you. Keep it and wait.

Contact the World Exchange Bank, they can help you.

It's probably old currency, they've changed it a lot during the past 15 years. What I recommend is taking it to Argentina (or giving it to someone who will travel there) and go to the Bank (Banco del Estado or similar) and they will probably change it, giving you a lesses value of it. But at least you'll get something. They have Thomas Cook agencies there who could solve your problem.

It was probably demonitized. You can't even use it in Argentina at the banks. I had a 5 peso bill which became worthless as it went out of circulation, I think you have a year or two to change at a bank and afterwards you lose value.
