I was thinking of buying land in Argentina... any suggestions on how I should do it???

I am an American who speaks only a little Spanish. I have a belief that world war 3 is about to start and I think somewhere in the Southern Hemisphere is safer than the Northern Hemisphere. I looked at all of the S. American countries and have chosen Argentina or Chile- what do you think of my choice and if you know how I can do this I would like to hear your answer. Thanks!
