Name the satellite service that provide informative channel other than ORBIT in the middle east?

I want to watch Discovery Channel, National Geographic Channel, Discovery Science, Discovery Travel and Living in Bahrain. Orbit has not provided the channel anymore. What other options do I have.

I know that if you can get your hands on a viewing card for Sky TV and a Sky box (boxes are on the net to buy) that the Astra satellite that broadcasts sky TV is visible in the middle east but you would need a large dish (because it's beam is mainly focused on the UK and Europe) but thanks to the ionosphere scattering beams from space it can be picked up clearly with a big enough dish from the middle east (you just need a much large collection area to detect enough of the weaker signal beam).

The main problem would be getting hold of a Sky viewing card as they only give subscriptions I think to UK addresses.

3 or your 4 channels are indeed part of the Orbit offering -- all except National Geographic. I live in Bahrain and am planning to place an order with Orbit this week. I have their brochure in front of me. I was pleased to discover the 3 Discovery channels on their list. Fortunately, NGC is already sent to all flats in my building.
