What currency do they use in Gaza? |
Do they use Israeli currency? Egyptian? Jordanian? US Dolar? Euro? Today, we see thousands of Gazans spilling over the boarder into Egypt to go shopping and I wonder what currency they use. Gaza is technically not occupied by Israel. But in reality they are. They use Israeli shekels because it is not a country or sovereign state. When they are shopping in Egypt they are using the money exchange to change shekels to the Egyptian Pound. Cheers! |
