Question about Iranian culture? |
I'm reading a book in which there is a family of Iranians. However I have a question about the way they address eachother, for example there is a character called Susan and they always refer to her as Susi-june why do they do this and what does it mean Its an affectionate term meaning " dear ". So it would be like saying "dear susi". They also say joonam, meaning "my dear" , in response to a question. |
