If I wanted to visit Africa what part is the best part to visit?

It depends what you want to see, or what you want to go there for. If you want to go for wildlife viewing, then South Africa, Tanzania, Kenya, Botswana are probably the best. If you want to climb Kilimanjaro, then Tanzania is the only one. If you want to meet African people and what a lot of people think of as "traditional african culture" with good dance and drumming and music and such, then I would say West or Central Africa. If you want to know about Arab influence in Sub-Saharan Africa, then Sudan or the Swahili Coast, etc. Just depends what you want.

I think South Africa.

i lived in nigeria for the first 12 years of my life. i reccomend Lagos or Abuja in Nigeria. but if u are looking for a more luxurious place, go to port elizabeth in south africa

East Africa Tanzania & Zanzibar

The United Republic of Tanzania is located in Eastern Africa between longitude 29o and 41o East, Latitude 1o and 12o South.

The United Republic of Tanzania was formed out of the union of two sovereign states namely Tanganyika and Zanzibar. Tanganyika became a sovereign state on 9th December, 1961 and became a Republic the following year. Zanzibar became independent on 10th December, 1963 and the People's Republic of Zanzibar was established after the revolution of 12th January, 1964. The two sovereign republics formed the United Republic of Tanzania on 26th April, 1964. However, the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania is a unitary republic consisting of the Union Government and the Zanzibar Revolutionary Government.


Zanzibar is the number one beach location in East Africa. It is a wonderful island, with classic tropical beaches, lush plantations, an incredible history and a fascinating culture.

Although visitor traffic through Zanzibar is now quite high, on the whole it remains resolutely untamed. There are however some beach areas which are definitely worth avoiding.
