Should I go to Jordan for one semester or a Year?

For my year in college I've decided to go to Jordan in hopes of helping my Arabic, and learning more about the middle east. I have the opportunity for a good job after I graduate if I go. (doing exactly what I want to do) I have been doing some reasearch and have been trying to learn more about the area (Jordan is the only place in the Middle East I can go to with my University) How are things over there, I hear it's safe but I would like to hear that from someone who has been there or knows someone who has been there. what are some lesser known customs to abide by as well?
Thanks!

Jordan is an excellent choice to live or attend the university. I think you should go for a cemester and see if you like it. If you like it, go for a year. It is very, very safe. One of the safest in the middle east if you think about it. Peeople there speak really good english. You will find a lot of other americans too. A LOT from Pennsilvania. I am full jordanian been there many times but i was born and raised and living in the USA. A lot in jordan relates to the states. They have really neat must see sites. The food there is awesome and they have a lot of american restaurants. The malls are fun too. The area is nice but where a jakcet at night cause it can get cold. Customs would be don't show TOO much skin, and that follows for just about any other middle eastern country. The University of Jordan is awesome and HUGE.
I think you should go for a cemester, see if you like it, and stay for year or however you want. You won't feel uncomfortable there, a lot of americans go.

Leave a comment below the question about my answer thanks!
