3.What happens in Stoning?
In stoning to death, the victims's hands are tied behind their backs and their bodies are put in a cloth sack. Then, this human "package" is buried in a hole, with only the victims heads showing above the ground. If its a woman, she is buried upto her shoulders. This is to give her an seemingly equal (but nonetheless impossible) chance to escape recognizing her lesser physical strength.
After the hapless individual has been secured in the hole, people start chanting "Allah hu Akbar" (meaning, God is great), and throw palm sized stones at the head of the victim from a certain distance (a circle is drawn).
The stones are thrown until the person dies or until he/she escapes out of the hole and crosses the circle. Escaping is impossible, given that the individual's hands are tied behind their backs and they are buried in a hole upto their necks or shoulders (in the case of males and females respectively).

I have read in a newspaper that an Iranian man who was convicted of raping and killing his 16-year-old nephew is to be executed by being thrown off a cliff in sack; and if the man survives the fall down a rocky precipice, he will be hanged.

All I can say is, if you believe in such a topic, then you are ignorant and a hypocrite without any doubt.
In the first place, there is no such way to condemn all the Arabic countries by saying that just because there are some crazy leaders and terrorists everybody is the same.
In the second place, if I were you, I would start to remember your own history, it is not so long ago when people were perused and killed just because they believed in another religion or had different political ideas, it麓s not so long ago since the "witches" have been burned in Salem / USA... not talking about the barbaric things which were done by good Catholic white Americans when they thought it was right to force black people to be their slaves, when they killed all the true Americans (the Indian natives). Or simply let麓s talk about what happened during World War II in Auschwitz... or just remember what happened when they dropped the bomb over Nagasaki... or let麓s talk about the civil war in ex-Yugoslavia...

No, meanwhile in Europe people almost still lived in caves the Arabic countries where famous for their development in medicine, mathematics, constructions, etc...
I have too many good friends all over the world, including people who live in Morocco, Jordan, Israel and Syria to believe in such stupidly... but it makes me angry.
