Does anybody know where i can learn ndebele? |
Does anybody know where I can learn the Zimbabwean language of Ndebele? I am marrying a Zimbabwean and would like to be able to hold a conversation in Ndebele, when I go to Zimbabwe. I have found one website of Zimbabwe Ndebele lectures, but would like learn more! Strangely enough, Ndebele is the easier of the two lanuguages (the other being Shona), and is similar to the South African Zulu language. It should not be too difficult to learn but it will take a while though. Just try to learn the basics first. I spent a long time in Zimbabwe and can speak both Ndebele and Shona even though I am not black.
