We went to Ireland last year.
I was really looking forward to going in an Irish pub because I had heard how much fun they are.

Also, I was looking forward to trying the Guinness there - I had heard from loads of people over the years that the Guinness is so much better in Ireland.

What a disappointment!
Every pub we went in was dead, (this is in Southern Ireland) and the Guinness was no different at all, at all.

AND they wanted to charge me to kiss some stupid rock!
