Irish people only!!?

How much would it cost to get a money order in Ireland?
And because Im sending to America would the post office change my euros into dollars for me? And how much would that cost?

I'm sending $19.97 by money order from Ireland using the post office. Can anyone tell me how much it will cost to get the money order and how much it will cost to change from Euros to Dollars

the exchange will be about 15 dollars (14.83), give or take a few cents...

post offices should do this for you with a surcharge, but be sure to go armed with ALL of the information you will need...if a post office can not do this, go to a bank of ireland or aib with a currency exchange, they should be able to do it. if one place cannot do it, don't be shy- ask where they might be able to help you!

(i'm not irish but used to live there and had to do lots of trans-atlantic transactions like this....never found one that couldn't be solved)

A Euro is about $1.33. The dollar such has declined over the past 5 years, huh.
