How far is galway airport from galway city centre?

Are there any buses from the airport to the centre?

I know this one, on a cars odometer (the bit on the speedometer that counts the miles travelled) it is 6.6 miles, from the Airport Carpark to Eyre Square, Galway City Centre. by the most direct route. I hope this helps you, because it is a very dangerous walk, with all the traffic going by during most of the day. Please be careful, you can rent a car at the airport, or catch a bus, but please avoid walking... Hope this helps you... Tony M

Galway airport is aprox 7 miles from the city centre and there are taxi's available to Eyre Square.

yes their is bus s and a taxi would cost u between 12 to 15 euros the bus s do nt run too ofen here a number
