Are there any free or cheap edinburgh attractions? Also where is a cheap place to eat preferably buffet lunch? The only free attractions that are in Edinburgh are the Art Galleries on the Mound, Queens Street and Market Street or the Museums in Chambers Street (You can also have a look at Greyfrair's Bobby and the Kirk Yard here) and the Museum of Childhood in the High Street. Princes Street is no longer what it was. The luxury stores have all moved upwards to George Street and Multrees Walk, leaving the once-legendary Jenners in the shadow. Harvey Nichols, situated betw... I don't have the mag or vouchers but I looked up the offer. You've got to have ID with address on it because it's only for residents of Edinburgh so I don't think they would be ... It's a lovely city! Edinburgh is small enough that you feel you know your way around, but large enough to have a lot going on so that you don't feel bored. It is a really beautiful... Head up the Royal Mile, there are some great bars and resteraunts there. Leave the castle / holyrood etc till the next day. Bit late for seeing them properly. Enjoy your stay. :) ...Nothing special really - sorry to burst your bubble. Every time i go to Edinburgh - weekly - i don't eat anything special and there are not cafes especially that only sell haggis!! Its n... Auld Lang Syne, but you know that already (LOL). :) Will be somewhere a lot sunnier than Edinburgh this Hogmanay. I'll be in South Eastern Brasil visiting family. Stopped going to Hogma... It is beside the Royal Scottish Academy & National Art Gallery in the square at the foot of The Mound just halfway along Princes Street ...It's on Princes Street,close to Waverley Station, not one of the best hotels in Edinburgh, but central and close to all the touristy bits. They have a offer on at the moment for dinner / bed ... |
