What kind of food is popular in Edinburgh Scotland?

What kind of food is popular in Edinburgh Scotland?

Nothing special really - sorry to burst your bubble.

Every time i go to Edinburgh - weekly - i don't eat anything special and there are not cafes especially that only sell haggis!!

Its normal. Chip shops are popular that's about it. Shortbread is good too...

Haggis

Scottish meat pies, hagus, shortbread and oatmeal stuffing for fowl.

During a recent trip to Scotland I noticed that many people were happily consuming deep fried Mars bars ( chocolate) and anything else that can be purchased at the 'chippie'. The 'chip shop' which is equally popular in England has become the fast food prefered by many Scotts

Same as elsewhere. Depends what you like. Do you like Pizza, burgers, pasta, chinese etc? We have food for every taste just like everywhere else.

Abracoes.

I had sausage casserole last night. Spaghetti bolognese on Tuesday. Sirloin steaks on Monday. Sausage, bacon, egg, black pudding, tomatoes & beans on Sunday. I had haggis funnily enough last week for the first time in 2 years. They are not really in season. You can only hunt them at certain times of the year.

Fish and chips; potatoes; sausage; black pudding (I love it).

Curry, pizza and pasta are probably the most popular.

McDonald's
Pizza Hut
KFC

Haggis, tatties and turnip, stew, mince and tatties, (tatties meaning potatoes)
